Practicing times tables with your students? Your students are going to love reinforcing their learning of times tables (1 to 12!) and skip counting with these unique differentiated Christmas Emoji dot to dot activities - perfect for big kids!
Students will be able to practice their skip counting for each of the times tables from 1 to 12 as well as pick up patterns and sequences in the times tables. These are ideal for older students or high flyers as the images are a little more complex and sometimes involve some jumping around so it is not so easy for them to just guess!
I have also included a special blank set of DIY DOT 2 DOTS too so students can design their own for their classmates as extension work! The beauty of this, is that they can do any sequence they like! I give you a few ideas for these in the teacher's notes :)
We are living in an ‘emoji generation’ where emoticons have actually become a language used worldwide, especially by young people. What better than to bring emoticons into your classroom and allow students to communicate through adorable expression filled Christmas emojis!
So have fun with your students this Christmas with these fully differentiated dot to dot activities with these adorable emojis (hand drawn by yours truly, so no one else has the rights to modify the art in this way making them completely unique for your students!).
You can then finish off your lesson with these perfectly matching Editable Christmas Emoji Exit Tickets to see what your students have learned :)
